Făget Country Club

Situated at the edge of the forest in Cluj-Napoca, the Country Club project is negotiating a steeply sloped plot. Integrating the volume into the natural environment was the central challenge, solved through careful articulation with the existing topography. The concept adopts a Nordic Scandinavian aesthetic, manifested through the use of authentic materials: wood cladding, glass, and stone, complemented by a metal sheet roof. These nature-inspired finishes facilitate a fluid transition between interior and exterior. Ample glazed surfaces capture natural light, defining a bright and minimalist interior. Warm and inviting, the Nordic space is created through the interaction between woody textures and the generous influx of light. The volume anchors itself in the landscape, opening strategically towards nature. The result is a contemporary atmosphere that invites relaxation and reflection, an architectural intervention that respects and amplifies the value of the natural context.
