In the spring of 2012, a new ZARA street store was opened in Sibiu, European Capital of Culture in 2007. It is located on one of the most crowded streets of the city, Nicolae Balcescu, that leads to the central square “Piata Mare” – the favourite area of the city for both tourists and residents. The store space is organised in a four story building (basement, ground floor, first floor and attic), a former bank. The project was completed in a six month period, including the consolidation works for the entire building.
