CBC OFFICES Cluj-Napoca

CBC OFFICES represents a strategic architectural intervention within a heterogeneous urban landscape. Its location in Cluj-Napoca, at the confluence of dense socialist neighborhoods, undeveloped areas, and contemporary constructions, necessitated a concept that negotiates the transition between these typologies. The project aims to urbanize a plot bordering the socialist fabric, efficiently recycling outdated existing buildings. The facades, a rhythmic composition of curtain walls and HPL panels, transcend their aesthetic function. They encourage the propagation of natural light, generating a dynamic interplay of transparency and opacity.This materiality imbues the interiors with a contemporary and airy atmosphere. The spaces, organized in a modern open plan, offer functional flexibility. The building becomes a visual mediator, establishing a coherent dialogue with its surroundings, a bridge between eras and architectural styles.
