Brâncuși Offices

The project addresses a specific urban challenge in the Cluj landscape: the recycling of obsolete built stock and the need for controlled height growth.
The architectural intervention proposes an alignment with the existing cornice, redefining the street front and establishing a new point of interest on Brâncuși Street. The facade, governed by a rigorous mathematical rhythm concept, is composed of glass curtain walls which maximize natural light intake. The precisely arranged vertical white metal louvers filter the light, generating a subtle visual dynamic and an evanescent texture. These mediate the relationship between interior and exterior. Contrast is provided by strategically inserted wood-imitation cladding, which confers a tactile dimension and a necessary warmth in a predominantly glazed ensemble. The interior spaces, designed to be organized and welcoming, reflect a modern and contemporary atmosphere.Through this material and volumetric stratification, the project demonstrates responsible urban integration, transforming a plot into an active element of the urban fabric.
