MegaImage Calea Turzii

Mega Image Calea Turzii, strategically located in Cluj Napoca, responds to the challenge of signaling the urban entrance. Conceived as a flagship store, the building functions as a visual anchor, a visual reference point in a vital intersection, in an area undergoing intense urban reconfiguration. The articulated volumetric dynamic generates a landmark, a distinct architectural presence. The facade, a composition of faceted planes, is clad in high-tech metallic mesh, in shades of white and red. Its materiality interacts with ambient light, creating a constant play of shadows and reflections, which gives the building a sculptural vitality. The interior, technical and modern, extends this aesthetic, ensuring a fluid experience. The project aims for a “wow effect” through its conceptual coherence, transforming a commercial function into a volumetric statement, anchoring the retailer’s identity in the urban fabric through a contemporary and memorable expression.
