Zara Sibiu

The Zara Sibiu project, located in the city’s historic center, illustrates a precise architectural intervention through the reuse of an existing building.  The challenge was twofold: adapting to the conditions of the pre-existing space and creating an environment representative of the brand. The central concept articulates a timeless dialogue, balancing the local architectural heritage with the dynamism of contemporary commerce. The facade, finished with plaster and extensive glazed surfaces, achieves a contemporary urban integration within the historic medieval fabric. Glass, a defining element, allows natural light to penetrate deeply, giving the interior constant luminosity. The internal space thus becomes contemporary and sophisticated, with a discreet atmosphere.  The choice of simple materials, such as plaster, amplifies the perception of clarity and openness. This logical approach transforms a restrictive context into a functional expression, where light and material collaborate to define a modern retail experience, respecting the scale and character of the place.
