Steluța Farm Store
Steluta Farm Store redefines agricultural product retail at the confluence of urban and rural landscapes. Situated on a steeply sloped plot, the project addresses the topographical challenge with an ingenious solution: the commercial space is superimposed over a parking lot discreetly integrated into the building’s volume. This functional stratification maximizes the land’s efficiency. The exterior volume, articulated by profiled metal panels, confers a contemporary, robust, yet refined image. The facades, through the interplay of solid and void, calibrate the penetration of natural light.
The interior, a symbiosis of wood, cement, and glass, creates a warm, authentic atmosphere, evoking a connection with nature without sacrificing modern aesthetics. Extensive glazing allows for a continuous visual relationship with the exterior, generously illuminating the exhibition space. This architectural intervention proposes a new paradigm for the trade of primary and secondary products, offering a distinct and functional urban interface at the edge of Cluj’s orchards. The project demonstrates careful contextual integration, transforming a site constraint into an aesthetic and operational asset.
