House C_Făget 2
Located in Cluj-Napoca, House F addresses the challenge of harmonious integration into a generous natural landscape. Discreetly positioned along a waterway, the architectural intervention subtly negotiates its relationship with the adjacent river and hill. The central concept aims for a deep connection with the surrounding environment, materialized through fluid transitional spaces between interior and exterior. Extensive glazing becomes a defining element, blurring boundaries and allowing natural light to penetrate generously, revealing the texture of the veneer cladding.
The exterior, defined by white plaster and stone accents, gives the volumetric design a modernist sculptural character. This chromatic and textural palette contributes to a contemplative atmosphere, where every detail is designed to amplify the dialogue with nature. The project does not impose, but rather dialogues. Its configuration responds to the topography, creating a home that, although contemporary, naturally anchors itself in the site. The house becomes a refined observer of the landscape, a discreet presence, yet with a strong identity.
