House DS
House S addresses the challenge of a deep plot, located at the edge of the forest, through a precise architectural intervention. The central concept is based on constructive clarity, articulated by two superimposed and shifted volumes. This solution optimizes the footprint, simultaneously generating functional outdoor spaces. The facades combine the rigor of exposed concrete with the textured warmth of wood cladding, establishing a dialogue between materiality and light.
The interior is defined by an abundance of natural light, culminating in the double-height living room, a generous spatial core. Here, the relationship between tactile surfaces and the play of light creates a vibrant, modernist atmosphere. The residence assumes a discreet, sober presence in the heterogeneous urban landscape of Cluj-Napoca, demonstrating a logical and respectful integration with the context, without stylistic compromises.
