House P_Feleacu

House P, located in the generous landscape of Feleacu, addresses the challenge of harmonious integration with the surrounding nature. The concept of contemporary rural guides the intervention, allowing the dwelling to subtly negotiate its relationship with the adjacent hill and river. This approach respects rural specificity, redefining it through a modern aesthetic. The volumetric design utilizes a palette of materials including wood, glass, and metallic accents, with a slate roof. Wood provides a tactile anchor, while ample glazed surfaces allow natural light to flood the interior. Glass becomes a transparent filter, blurring the boundary between the private space and the exterior landscape. The interior spaces, characterized by extensive luminosity and constant visual connection with nature, cultivate an atmosphere that balances contemporary comfort with the authentic essence of rural life. This permanent dialogue with the surrounding environment defines the residential experience.
