G Residential Building

The G Building Project in Cluj-Napoca directly responds to the imperative of urban modernization and densification. The architectural intervention aims to consolidate and raise the cornice of the street front, transforming an urban fragment into one with a distinct presence. The concept of a continuous-front building generates visual coherence. Two active facades define the volume: the main one, with a closed composition, dialogues with the street, while the rear one activates the interior space of the plot. The chosen materials – glass, HPL, and aluminum joinery – confer an urban, modern aesthetic. Glass modulates the penetration of natural light, creating a subtle relationship between the interior and the exterior environment. HPL panels add texture and rhythm to the facade, contributing to the perception of a balanced composition. The interior proposes two-level apartments, facilitated by internal stairs, offering a complex residential experience. This vertical structure optimizes space, generating a contemporary atmosphere, adapted to the requirements of collective living.
