Armătura Urban Plan
Armature urban planning project strategically addresses the recovery of an urban brownfield, adjacent to the train station. This abandoned industrial territory is being repurposed, marking the rediscovery of the city’s north and the refunctionalization of communist industrial platforms. The central concept is permeability, establishing a vital urban connection between the urban fabric and the Nadăș River. The modernist volumes, arranged as blades, are integrated into a generous green landscape, creating a distinct atmosphere. The exterior finishes, made of modern cladding, fiber cement, and HPL, modulate the volumetric perception through subtle interaction with natural light, imparting durability and aesthetic refinement. The interior spaces reflect a calm, Nordic aesthetic, completing the overall vision. The project recovers an essential urban segment, transforming an industrial platform into an active component of the contemporary city.
