Mărișel Country Club

The Mărișel Country Club project, located in the mountainous landscape of the Apuseni Mountains, was designed with deep respect for nature. The major challenge was preserving the existing mature vegetation, dictating a sensitive urban planning approach. The concept is articulated as a cluster of buildings, evoking the dispersed structure of traditional mountain homesteads. This fragmentation allows for seamless integration into the local architectural character and the natural environment. The exterior uses raw wood and shingle roofs, materials that age gracefully and harmonize with the forest’s color palette.  Natural light penetrates generously, sculpting the minimalist yet warm interior volumes. The overall atmosphere is that of a mountain refuge, an authentic retreat, where architecture becomes an extension of the landscape.
