PR Urban Plan
The Zonal Urban Plan addresses a stringent need: the modernization of post-communist residential areas. The central challenge lies in inserting contemporary housing, with integrated services, into an urban context dominated by low-quality structures. The concept proposes multifunctional housing, which revitalizes an extensive green area and integrates the Calvaria stream, transforming it from a barrier into a central element. The architecture utilizes modern materials, such as HPL panels, creating a deliberate visual contrast with the existing aesthetic. Interiors are designed to be bright, with generous glazing that maximizes the penetration of natural light, contributing to an open atmosphere. This intervention becomes a neighborhood hub, offering green spaces and integrated functions. Urban integration is achieved through contrast, resolving pre-existing deficiencies and establishing vital connectivity across the waterway to the new sports base. The project demonstrates a logical argument for urban revitalization, transforming a neglected area into a vibrant core.
