Compexit Urban Plan
The Compexit urban planning project strategically addresses the transformation of Calea Turzii, from a rapid transit artery into a main axis of the new urban pole. The adjacent intersection becomes a defining neighborhood center, necessitating an architectural intervention with a dominant position. The project proposes a monoblock building, an introverted structure, which generates an intimate inner courtyard, suspended above the vibrant commercial ground floor. This solution balances urban dynamics with the need for a private space.
The exterior facades, defined by ceramic cladding, interact with light, giving the volume a distinct presence in the urban landscape. HPL accents in wood tones modulate perception, adding a warm texture. The contemporary and functional interior complements the atmosphere, creating a deliberate contrast between the exterior effervescence and the serenity of the courtyard. Urban integration is achieved through the articulation of the volume, supporting a new urbanity where residential intimacy coexists with public vitality.
